Interface JournalSetting

Milliseconds before the first resend of an append; each next one waits twice as long, up to 2 s (default 50).

Most events in one append (default 64; 1 sends each event alone).

"best-effort" (the default): the call never waits. "required": it waits at three barriers, and raises JournalError when they fail.

Sends of one append, after the first, before giving up on it for now (default 2).

Milliseconds (default 30,000): the longest an append is waited for (its signal aborts then, and no answer came), and the longest a barrier waits before the call goes on as if the journal did not answer. Infinity waits for ever.
